ABOUT THE AUTHORS

Among L. Ron Hubbard’s final works were two original screenplays, written in the early 1980s, designed to be full-length feature films. Mr. Hubbard suggested that they be adapted into novels by other writers, thereby providing them the unique opportunity of co-authorship.

The screenplay for A Very Strange Trip was novelized by Dave Wolverton, a New York Times bestselling author and editor of the L. Ron Hubbard Presents Writers of the Future anthology series. Dave’s first novel won the Philip K. Dick Memorial Special Award and his book Star Wars: The Courtship of Princess Leia was one of the biggest hardcover fiction bestsellers of 1994.
